Archived: Snowy Road Conditions Cause Car Crash Thursday
Thursday’s snowy road conditions are to blame for the cause of a car accident in St. Cloud.
Stearns County Sheriff’s department responded to a crash on County Road 134 west of Old Highway 52 in St. Cloud at about 2:20 p.m. on Thursday.
According to Sheriff John Sanner, a 2006 Ford driven by Katlin Vanort of Columbia, Missouri was heading east when she lost control of her car in the snow. Vanort’s car spun out and crossed the center line hitting a 2008 Hyundai driven by Kay Stang of St. Joseph.
Both women were wearing seatbelts and were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for minor injuries.
