Our spring concert – Rockin it Local: A Minnesota Music Showcase – saw two great bands and a stellar performance by St Cloud State student Jill Zimmerman.  The opening act, Roma di Luna, set up the show with a folksy blend of jazz and rock to create an ambiance suitable for an energetic crowd. The crowd definitely enjoyed the set as it was received with a standing ovation. SCSU’s own Jill Zimmerman came out in between sets and sang a few heart-felt songs to put the audience in her shoes. The main act, The Twilight Hours with John Munson and Matt Wilson, came out and kept the crown rockin’ through the night – even closing with a short encore performance.
