The St. Cloud State football team defeated NSIC rival Minot State 42-28 Saturday in game that saw SCSU rely heavy on its ground game.

 

After trailing 7-14 heading into halftime the Huskies would come roaring back in the second half behind a 3-headed running attack. St. Cloud State saw three rushers gain over 100 yards on the ground led by redshirt freshman Curtwan Evans, who rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown on the day.

 

The Huskies improve to 4-3 on the season and will hit the road this weekend to face 4-3 Bemidji State who are riding a 4-game winning streak.
