A three-vehicle crash took place next to Elk River High School on Saturday.

Minnesota State Patrol Sergeant Jesse Grabow says that a truck and SUV were at a red light heading north on Highway 169. A car traveling through the intersection didn’t stop in time and struck the SUV from behind and caused the SUV to rear-end the truck.

The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 169 and School Street, which lies directly next to Elk River High School.

The drivers of the car and truck were taken to Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton with minor injuries.
