The SCSU women’s hockey team was swept by the #4 Ohio State University over the weekend losing 4-0 on both Friday and Saturday.

Friday’s game saw Ohio state find the net 48 times scoring four goals on the nearly 50 shots. The second period was the decisive period in the game as all of Ohio State’s goals were scored in the second.

Saturday’s game was much of the same with goaltender  Emma Polusny allowing four goals on 31 shots. Julianna Iafallo netted two goals for Ohio State in the game to propel her to to the series sweep.

After the losses the Huskies drop to 1-5 overall on the season and 0-2 in WCHA play.
