The SCSU women’s hockey team was swept by Bemidji State at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center this past weekend.

 

On Friday, Bemidji blistered the SCSU net with 51 shots on goal. Goaltender Janine Alder showed a valiant effort in net allowing only three of those shots to get past her. The offense lacked for SCSU though as they couldn’t find the back of the net in the 3-0 loss.

 

On Saturday, The story was very similar just with less shots recorded by Bemidji. The Beavers would hold SCSU scoreless for the second day in a row en route to another 3-0 win to pick up the series sweep.

 

SCSU drops to 2-10 overall with a 1-7 record in WCHA play on the season. The Huskies will be on the road this weekend to face the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.
