A central Minnesota youth development organization is holding a party to fund their programs.

Natalie Keane of Sprout Marketplace says that the Crow Wing County 4-H will be hosting a "Party with Purpose," an event that includes food and donations in support of an organization.

The party’s proceeds will go to the Minnesota 4-H Youth Development Program, which allows children and teenagers to have learning opportunities that help them grow into a productive and active citizens in the community.

The event is sponsored by Sprout, ArtPlace America, and the Region Five Development Commission. Traditional Native American food will be made by the 4-H youth and their family to showcase foods such as wild rice and smoked fish.

The party will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at Sprout Growers and Makers Marketplace in Little Falls from 6 p.m-8 p.m.
