Stearns County Deputies arrested an Albany man after he allegedly fled the scene of a car accident after rear-ending US Postal Service carrier’s vehicle.

Authorities say on Friday, December 20 just before 5:30 p.m. they received word of a crash with injuries on County Road 154. This is just east of County Road 10, and northeast of Albany city limits.

Driving a jeep was 6o-year-old Alice Theisen of Albany. She was delivering mail for the US Postal Service. She was stopped at a mailbox and was struck from behind by a 2005 Ford F-150. The driver of the F-150 fled the scene.
