The Husky women’s basketball team was on the home court this weekend for the first time this season. St. Cloud State hosted Valley City State on Sunday afternoon. The Huskies came out on top with a huge 91-65 victory. This marks the first victory of the season for the Huskies who are 1-0. They travel to Des Moines, Iowa for a game against Grand University Wednesday evening.

The SCSU men’s basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season after a victory over Mayville State Sunday afternoon. Four games were played at Halenbeck Hall over the weekend as part of the St. Cloud State Men’s Basketball Classic. On Saturday the Huskies defeated rival St. John’s University 80-74. The final score of Sundays game against Mayville was 80-56. The Huskies hit the road this upcoming weekend.
