ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Lumberjacks from Bemidji traveled to St. Cloud to take on the Tigers. Bemidji came to town having lost their first four matches while Tech was coming off an exciting five set win over Brainerd.

The sets were back and forth all night, but the Tigers played well and brought home a win. They defeated the Warriors in straight sets 25-23, 27-25 and 25-19.

The victory extends a successful start to the season for the Tigers, who have won 14 of 19 sets in their first five matches for a record of 4-1. Tech is now 1-1 in Section 8AAA, sitting second behind Detroit Lakes who they will face on the road on September 15th.

Next up, Tigers will compete in the Becker Tournament on Saturday the 12^th and in the Dokin Invitational on the 19^th in Two Rivers.

The next broadcast on RadioX will be September 24^th as the Tigers go on the road again to take on the Rocori Spartans in Cold Spring.
