SCSU’s women’s hockey team played Minnesota State University in Mankato over the weekend. The Huskies fell to the Mavericks 4-2 on Friday but rebounded on Saturday. The 3-3 game needed extra time and a shoot out to decide who would get the extra conference point. Freshman Lauren Hespenheide scored the only goal in the shoot out for the extra point for the Huskies.

The Huskies have just one weekend of regular season play remaining next weekend. February 21-22 when they host Bemidji State University. Those games can be heard on the KVSC Sports Stream.
