The St. Cloud State women’s hockey team hosted the Bemidji State Beavers over the weekend. The Huskies and Beavers skated to a 1-1 tie in overtime in the Friday game, Bemidji took the extra conference point with a 1-0 shootout win.

In the final home game of the season on Saturday the Huskies fell to the Beavers by a score of 3-0 thanks to a couple early Beavers goals and an empty net goal. The Saturday game was dubbed senior night, honoring the seven seniors: Amanda Monkman, Michelle Burke, Sydney Burghardt, Julia Gilbert, Molli Mott and Cari Coen. St. Cloud State finishes the regular season with a 4-25-5 record with a 3-21-4 mark in the WCHA. Next up is the WCHA first round playoffs and the Huskies travel to the University of Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers.
