A pregnant woman has died after being stuck by a semi-tractor trailer Monday morning near Sartell.

The Stearns County Sheriff says just before 8 a.m. 46-year-old Corey Planck of Star City Indiana was driving his semi-truck northeast on County road 133 towards Sartell. 30-year-old Casey Myers of Holdingford was driving southeast on County Road 4. Myers stopped at the four-way intersection and started to go through it, when Planck failed to stop and struck Myers on the passenger side.

First responders arrived and found Myers unconscious, she was also 5 months pregnant. Myers was taken to St. Cloud Hospital. Neither Myers or her fetus survived the injuries from the accident.

The crash is currently under investigation.
