Archived: Cold Temperatures Are Blowing Into Central Minnesota This Weekend
Do you have plans for the three day weekend? Well, the forecast is in, and it’s not going to be as cold as we expected.
St. Cloud State meteorology professor Bob Weisman says while the forecast temperature is increasing, it still is going to be a cold weekend. The highs for central Minnesota are likely to be around 10 degrees with lows in the negatives. Also, if recent strong winds keep up, the wind chill could range between -15 and -30 degrees.
So, you might want to go to your Plan B if you were expecting to spend Martin Luther King Jr. Day outside.
