One of the longest operating writing centers in the world is celebrating its 50th birthday. It just so happens to be on St. Cloud State University.

Tim Fountaine of the Write Place says there will be a small interruption to the writing center’s services to honor its 50th anniversary. Cake and balloons will also be present

The commemoration will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 2 p.m. The Write Place is located at Ruby Cora Webster Hall room 117, with another location at the Miller Center room 135E.
