The SCSU Softball team is set to awake from their winter slumber by playing 16 games over the course of 12 days. The Huskies will welcome in Bemidji State on Thursday with games set for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. followed by a double header against Viterbo University on Saturday with games scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Following the home stand, SCSU will spend Spring Break in Florida as they travel to Clermont over the course of March 5-11. While in Florida the Huskies will battle 12 different opponents before returning back to campus.

KVSC was able to catch up Redshirt Junior Cassie Francesconi and Head Coach Paula U’Ren to talk about the weekend ahead and expectations for the team’s trip down south.
