Highway 27 Improvements Include Tree Removals, Resurfacing

A central Minnesota highway might slow down when crews come to remove trees near the road next Monday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says motorists may come across road crews and heavy equipment on Highway 27 in Little Falls while trees are removed.

The work is part of a larger project to improve the highway through downtown Little Falls. By the time the project ends, a two-mile stretch of the road will be resurfaced. More infrastructures, such as bike lanes, curbs, and signals, will be improved.

The process will be begin on Monday, April 17 and will take up to ten days to complete.
