A St. Cloud woman was killed in a car crash on County Road 75 in St. Cloud on Tuesday.

The St. Cloud Police Department was sent to the scene of a crash involving a semi-truck and a car just after 2:30 p.m. Emergency responders found 29-year-old Amina Mohamed Abdi dead. She was the driver and only occupant of the car. The driver of the semi-truck was identified as 28-year-old Cody James Richert, who was not hurt.

The crash left emergency vehicles on the scene as the road remained closed for about two hours after the crash.

A preliminary investigated discovered that Abdi was driving south in the northbound lanes, which caused the crash.

The crash is still under investigation. No charges are expected to be filed.
