Archived: NASA To Visit Apollo High School To Promote Manufacturing Programs
NASA and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) will be visiting Apollo High School in St. Cloud.
St. Cloud Area School District 742 spokeswoman Tami DeLand says representatives from NASA HUNCH (High schools United with NASA to Create Hardware) and SME PRIME (Partnership Response In Manufacturing Education) programs will be presenting to show the jobs in the field of manufacturing.
Apollo is hoping to make these pilot programs to make Central Minnesota the future manufacturing hub.
The presentation will begin on Monday, October 22 at 12-3 p.m.
