St. Cloud Police team up with SCSU to make move-in weekend a safe one. 

St. Cloud Police Commander Brett Mushatt says police are working with SCSU, St. Cloud Technical & Community College, and St. Cloud city officials to continue the tradition of neighborhood prevention walks during the first weekend. They will meet with 185 Southside residences and 50 apartment complexes, meeting nearly 3,000 people.

In 2018, the amount of people cited dropped from the numbers recorded in 2017 from 74 to 58. According to St. Cloud University officials, only 19 of the citations were university students.

The police department says would like to thank residents and college officials for their cooperation for the rest of the school year.
