Show your true colors and join your favorite SCSU husky student athletes, coaches and other athletics staff to raise the Husky Stadium dome.

Husky Stadium’s dome will be raised between 6:00 a.m. and late afternoon Thursday, volunteers are encouraged to help out anytime on throughout the day.

Director of St. Cloud State University Athletics, Heather Weems says the dome raising was delayed due to the storied season of SCSU football. In a campus-wide message Weems says, "We postponed the raising of the dome to accommodate Husky Football’s practice schedule and the possible hosting of a play-off game."

St. Cloud State Professor of Meteorology Bob Weisman is forecasting some warmer temperatures for Thursday in the mid-to-high teens without the bitter wind chills.

Husky Athletics can use all the help from students and the community they can get. The dome consists of literally tons of tarp and cables as well as 10,000 nuts and bolts to install.
