Archived: A Fargo Man Has Been Killed After Colliding With A Semi-Tractor

A man has died after his car slid to avoid hitting a semi-tractor on I-94 westbound Monday (yesterday).

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a semi driven by 67-year-old James Hall of Northfield was traveling eastbound on I-94 in Stearns County, when the tractor jack-knifed across the median and came to a rest in the left westbound lane.

A car driven by 52-year-old Terrence Cusick of Fargo, ND was traveling westbound in the left lane when he attempted to avoid the tractor. The car began to slide and the driver’s side door collided with the tractor.

Terrence was killed at scene, while the passenger of the car, 43-year-old Toby Cusick suffered non –life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi suffered no apparent injuries.

Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was there to assist at the scene.
