Current Stearns County Auditor and Treasurer Randy Schreifels reveals absentee balloting for the next Stearns County Auditor and Treasurer will begin October 4.

The City of Melrose is included as an absentee ballot location because the 5th District is primarily located in western Stearns County.

Residents can either mail in their ballots or vote in person.The two locations available to citizens are the Stearns County Administration Building in Courthouse Square or the Melrose City Clerk’s Office.

The last day to cast an absentee ballot in person is November 18.
