Archived: Apollo High School Cleared To Re-Open Classrooms

While not completely returned to normal, the classrooms at Apollo High School have been cleared to open.

St. Cloud Area School District 742 says that there will be no school on Friday, September 21 to allow staff to get the school ready for every student to return.

The classrooms were closed after they were damaged by a fire on July 11.

The high school had been using an alternating schedule for students due to the lack of available classrooms. Grades 9-10 and 11-12 would alternate weekdays in which they attend the school. For each day, they would only have three classes, either the odd or even numbered classes on their schedule.

The return of all students will take place on Monday, September 24. Additional rooms should be re-opening in the near future.
