It’s a sure sign that spring is on it’s way as the Husky baseball team gets the 2014 season rolling. The St. Cloud State University baseball team opened its 2014 season with a thrilling 3-2 victory in 12 innings against Quincy College on Friday in Russellville, Ark. The weekend continued on Saturday when the Huskies took down Arkansas Tech 10-6. The Huskies played both teams again on Sunday, first falling to Quincy University 12-1 then losing in a close game, 5-4 against Arkansas Tech.

The Huskies will continue a long stretch of road trip, this upcoming weekend they visit Rolla, Mo for three games with Missouri S&T. The travel will not end there as the Huskies head to Tucson, AZ for six games from March 8-15. The boys will make their debut at home on April 2 at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud.
