Motorists traveling along I-94 near Melrose, may encounter traffic delays in both directions due to construction on the CapX2020 project. 

According to Mn-DOT, a helicopter will be working over the interstate. The State Patrol will assist the construction crew with a rolling road block, traveling 15-25 MPH along below the helicopter.

The rolling road block will periodically hold back traffic while the helicopter construction crew works overhead.

Drivers should also be aware that the County Road 3 South ramps to I-94 may be closed for up to ten-minutes when construction is in the area.

Minn-DOT would like to advise drivers to keep their eyes on the road, look out for slow traffic and be prepared to stop if necessary.
