Two children and their father have died after a weekend house fire in Big Lake.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s office says firefighters responded to the scene just after 5:30 Friday morning. Five people were pulled from the house including four children, ranging in age from 1 to 9-years-old, and their father 36-yearold Anthony Robert Parker. Everyone was brought to the hospital where the youngest two children died. Investigators believe the father intentionally started the fire but he died in the hospital before being questioned.

The State Fire Marshal will continue the investigation.
