SCSU’s men’s golf team was finally was able to get some time on a Minnesota green over the weekend. The Huskies participated in the St. John’s University Winter Invitational on Sunday at the Monticello Country Club. SCSU finished second in the 16 team field; shooting 13 over par. 3 Huskies finished in the top ten; Chase Hahne, Devin Holmes and Tyler Koivisto. The second round of competition is today. 

The Huskies will participate in post-season play for the 11th consecutive season this spring. SCSU is the only Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference team that has made it to the NCAA Tournament. The Central/Midwest Super Regional will be held May 6-8 at The Club at Strawberry Creek in Kenosha, WI.
