It took 54 shots on goal, but only one sent the Husky hockey team to the NCAA Championship game Saturday night.  Tony Mosey’s goal with less than 30 seconds into the 2nd overtime Friday lifted years of angst for Husky fans at the at the NCAA Tournament. The final score Friday night was 4-3 Huskies, in double overtime, defeating Northern Michigan.

SCSU plays Wisconsin at 8 p.m. Saturday with Aaron Bjorkstrand, Zack Fisch and Patrick Sullivan. The commercial free broadcast and pre-game starts at 7:40 p.m. right here Husky fans. Let’s hope the magic of the X, Minnesota’s Pig’s Eye City and the talent of our Huskies prevail.
