The St. Cloud State Women’s Basketball Team and their eight-game winning streak hit the roads this weekend, starting with a struggling Upper Iowa team.

The Huskies came out the gates strong, as they ended the first quarter, 21-4. The Huskies junior class filled that stat sheet as Tori Wortz led the way for SCSU with 22 points, making it eight straight games she has reached double figures. Nikki Kilboten totaled 15 points and 6 rebounds. SCSU shot 41 percent from the field and scored 18 points off turnovers. The Huskies advance their winning streak to nine.

St. Cloud State improves their winning streak to nine and will travel to Winona State (14-5, 10-5 NSIC) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
