The Husky football team is heading to the NCAA playoffs. SCSU extended their win streak to six games with a victory over MSU Moorhead Saturday afternoon. The Huskies hosted the Dragons in the final regular season game, dominating the game by a 64-27 final. It was a record-breaking win in the game as Phil Klaphake passed for his 10,000th rushing yard just after the start of the game. He then set the record for single game passing yards with 512, breaking his own record set last season of 466. As a team the Huskies collected a school record of 780 yards of offense, it was head coach Scott Underwood’s 50th victory of his career.

The Huskies will take their win streak on the road for the playoffs traveling to Arkansas this Saturday to take on Henderson State. The Huskies are the number six seed in Super Region three; Henderson State is 11-0 on the season and has the #3 ranking in the region game time is slated for 12:00 p.m. Listen to the game on 88.1 FM KVSC.
