Last Wednesday night the SCSU women’s basketball team saw their season end in a heartbreaking loss to the University of Sioux Falls 75-68. The team finished with an overall record of 16-11 and 12-10 in Northern Sun play.

The men’s team defeated Sioux Falls 86-75 on Wednesday to advance to the Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. There, the Huskies faced Winona State on Sunday and despite a late comeback effort the Huskies fell 78-70. The men’s team now plays the waiting game as they sit in the 8th ranked spot in the NCAA Division Two Central Region. The NCAA announcement will come on Sunday.
