Kelly Laas Recap with Junior Maya Keating
SCSU Softball kicked off their season with the Kelly Laas Memorial Tournament going 3-1 on the weekend.
On Friday the Huskies started the weekend by taking down Nebraska-Kearney 9-1. On Saturday, SCSU saw a double header come their way falling short in their first game to Missouri Western State 9-8 but bounced back against UW-Parkside 9-1. To cap off the weekend the Huskies got another shot at Parkside and would go on to beat the Rangers 8-0 to round out their tournament.
