Archived: Men’s Hockey Splits with Wolves

The SCSU men’s hockey team split a pair of games in Anchorage, Alaska over the weekend. The Huskies staged a dramatic comeback in game one Friday to win 4-3 before falling by a 3-1 score on Saturday.

St. Cloud State trailed 3-0 on Friday night before rallying for the 4-3 overtime victory. Jimmy Murray scored a pair of goals in the win, including the overtime game-winner.

The Huskies came up short on Saturday night. Johnny Brodzinski was the lone goal scorer in the loss.

SCSU is now 8-6 overall and 6-4 in WCHA play. The Huskies are back home this weekend for a series with Nebraska-Omaha.
