A Monticello man was injured in an unusual two-vehicle crash on Tuesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 41-year-old Anthony Cole was driving his mid-size car on Highway 25 in Big Like when he stopped for animals in the road just after 5 p.m. A minivan driven by 70-year-old Elaine Farnam of Monticello rear-ended Cole after he stopped.

Cole was taken to Monticello Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Farnam was not hurt.
