Part Of Highway 55 To Close Between Annandale and Buffalo
Motorists that use are portion of Highway 55 will have to use alternate starting at the end of the month.
Minnesota Department of Transportation spokesman J.P. Gillach says the Highway will be closed beginning at County Road 5 in Annandale and ending at County Road 37 in Maple Lake starting Monday, April 29th. After the section between Annandale and Maple Lake opens in early June, the Highway from Annandale to Buffalo will close for up to six weeks.
Businesses and residences will still be accessible throughout the closure and signs for detours will be posted along the Highway.
The goal of the construction is for drivers to have a smoother ride with longer pavement life, enhance traffic flow in Maple Lake, and improve drainage along the Highway.
