Backstages: Oreos and Bourbon — My Conversation with Dessa
In this episode of Backstages, KVSC Music Consultant John Drake had the pleasure to catch up with local rapper-singer Dessa, in advance of her appearance on KVSC’s Granite City Radio Theatre season 13 finale.
The sold-out performance is Wednesday May 14th at Pioneer Place on Fifth in downtown St. Cloud. Dessa and John talk about her recent local shows, working with the African choir 29:11 International Exchange, and as well digesting current events with a steady stream of comfort food: Oreos and Bourbon.
