Over the past 50 years, KVSC has been the training ground for broadcast journalists throughout Minnesota and the nation, and we’ve also been the playground for musically entranced community volunteers and students. With a little bit of editing (but not too much) these are their stories . . .
Dr. Aiko came back all the way from Baltimore to discuss the Great Programming Upheaval of the mid-80”s where KVSC came dangerously close to becoming a Top 40 station. He talks about how what we learn through seemingly “innocent” activities like volunteering at KVSC translate into life long learned skills.
This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
