KVSC’s 50th Birthday Celebration Oral Histories: Jim Huston
Over the past 50 years, KVSC has been the training ground for broadcast journalists throughout Minnesota and the nation, and we’ve also been the playground for musically entranced community volunteers and students. With a little bit of editing (but not too much) these are their stories . . .
Jim Huston is the current Program Director at KVSC and at first felt a little odd about giving an oral history about KVSC because he’s only been around for a couple of years. However, his interview demonstrates the the nature of KVSC and how even though everything at the station has changed over the past 50 years, in reality nothing much has changed at all!
