KVSC’s 50th Birthday Celebration Oral Histories: Kevin Ridley & Greg Thompson

Over the past 50 years, KVSC has been the training ground for broadcast journalists throughout Minnesota and the nation, and we’ve also been the playground for musically entranced community volunteers and students. With a little bit of editing (but not too much) these are their stories . . .

Kevin Ridely and Greg Thompson talk about getting trained in around 1981 and how Dick Hill made a huge difference in their lives.  They also talk about the variety of shows that they created over the years, plus lots of other shenanigans, because it was all about the development of crazy ideas into creative programming.

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
