The Future of Sustainability in the St. Cloud Area Begins Now

In this installment of the Untold Stories of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack brings us multiple perspectives about what it means to be sustainable.

Recently at the Rivers Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud, the 5th Annual Sustainability Expo brought together individuals and organizations all with the intent of sharing their best practices on how we can develop a sustainable future.

From farmers’ markets in St. Cloud and St. Joseph and small businesses to larger organizations like St. Cloud State University and the City of St. Cloud, everyone is realizing that it is how we practice the concept of sustainability that drives us into a future of our own making.

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
