The Untold Story of Hobos and the CCC Boys with Author Connie Lounsbury

In today’s installment of the Untold Stories of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack talks with author Connie Lounsbury about her novel A Hobo’s Wish. Through her research for the book, she has become quite the expert on this underground social network of men and women who lived outside regular society, but who also became the backbone of America through the WPA and into World War II. Lounsbury regularly gives Legacy funded presentations on the topic of hobos in Minnesota at various branch locations of the Great River Regional Library.

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
