St. Cloud State President Robbyn Wacker has offered her condolences to all those affected by the recent bombings in Sri Lanka.

A release by the Office of the President says Tuesday is a national day of mourning, and Wacker and others will hold a candle-lighting ceremony in sympathy.

Wacker said in the release that, “We will stand in solidarity and sympathy with those who are grieving and searching for answers to yet another act of violence that has left the world in shock and sorrow.”

On Easter Sunday, suicide bombers launched attacks against three churches in three separate Sri Lanka cities. As of Tuesday, over 320 people have been killed as a result of the bombings.
