Stearns County Human Services are requesting input from the public on a Child Care Plan.

The Child Care Assistance Program helps working families with the cost of child care. The plan describes the local policies and procedures.Even though the majority of the plan is prescriptive, the publics’ comments are wanted for its entirety.

A draft of the 2014-2015 Child Care Plan is currently available for public review on the Stearns County Website.

Comments on the plan will be accepted until October 22. Written comments should be submitted to Peggy Sammons, Planning Coordinator, Stearns County Human Services, P.O. Box 1107, St. Cloud, MN 56302.
