Archived: Sauk Rapids Woman Running Red Light Leads To Three-Car Crash

A Sauk Rapids woman drove through a red light on a highway in St. Cloud on Tuesday, causing a three-car collision.

The St. Cloud Police Department say they responded to a report of a collision at Highway 15 and 8th Street North just after 9:50 p.m.

A car driven by 47-year-old Amy Jo Feddema was traveling south on Highway 15 before going straight through a red light at 8th Street North and colliding with a westbound car driven by 25-year-old Christine Sisura Somsamouth of Sartell. The force of the impact caused Somsamouth’s car to be driven back into a third car driven by 31-year-old Crystal Lee Sanchez of St. Cloud.

Sanchez and her passenger, 31-year-old Tommie Jordan Davis of St. Cloud, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured.

Feddema was issued a citation for a semaphore violation for running the red light and having no insurance.
