After starting the season 5-0 in the Kelly Laas Memorial Tournament, the Huskies will travel to Topeka, Kansas and Auburndale, Florida for spring tournaments before coming home to start the NSIC conference season. Earlier today, I had the opportunity to check out practice and talk to Head Coach Paula U’Ren, Sophomore Infielder Jasmine Estrada, and Sophomore Pitcher Sydney Lapoint about starting the season strong, and what to expect for these upcoming, out of state games.
