St. Cloud State University musicians will be putting on a concert that is sure to be “Spooktacular”.

Spokeswoman Anna Kurth says the Halloween Spooktacular family festival and band concert will feature all sorts of fun. Families can attend pre-concert activities to learn about instruments, get candy and play games.

The SCSU Wind Ensemble will then perform spooky music and other tunes from Disney movies. The concert will have a kid’s costume parade with free giveaways, a candy corn counting contest and children’s stories and rhymes.

The Concert will be on Thursday, October 25 in the Ritche Auditorium in Stewart Hall. The pre-concert activities will start at 5:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. Admission to both is free.
