A Silver Lake man is dead after his SUV left the highway near a boat dealership on Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 47-year-old Chad Eugene Rannow was heading west on Highway 55 just after 11 a.m. when the accident occurred.

Rannow’s SUV left the road just east of South Haven. It landed into a ditch before hitting a driveway approach and finally came to a stop in front of J&J Marine, a Wright County boat dealership.

Rannow was not wearing a seat-belt at the time of the crash. Authorities have not yet determined if alcohol was involved in the crash.
