With all the snow officially cleared from the road and large amounts of rain on the way, the city of St. Cloud now has a new concern at the forefront, can roofs handle all the extra weight?

Over the weekend one St. Cloud building was condemned after its roof caved in. The building on the corner of University Drive and 9^th Avenue South was home to Subway, Kwik Fix Electronics and Campus Book Supply. The collapse happened just after 6 p.m. Saturday night. Subway was the only business open at the time, luckily no one was hurt and a majority of the damaged was contained to the book store.

The area has been roped off and the city has ordered the building to be demolished by the end of the week.
