The Husky softball team seen their season come to a close this weekend at the NSIC Tournament. The Huskies started off the tournament defeating the University of Mary in a close 2-1 game to advance. SCSU then fell to Minnesota State 0-5 and moved to the consolation bracket. Wayne State was the final team the Huskies battled with but fell 4-1. The appearance at the NSIC tournament wraps up the 2013 softball season. SCSU finished the season with a 12-12 conference record and was 28-26 overall.
